The Hightech business unit has a large project organization, where teams work on inhouse projects for our customers. In the teams, you’ll find software professionals with a variety of roles, levels of experience and cultural backgrounds. This is what you like to do:
We believe in facilitating personal and technical development and we have an individual, as well as a team approach. The needs and ambitions of our software professionals are leading. As a people manager, you are the first point of contact for your group (~30 employees). Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Executing the whole operational HR cycle
- Creating individual development plans with the professionals
- Supporting training&development needs
- Evalutions/feedback sessions and follow-up
- Annual appraisals
- Responsible for casemanagement (long-term illness)
- Supporting competence management in the teams and the project organization
- Allocating professionals to projects/assignments
- Onboarding and welcoming new colleagues
- Supporting all kinds of operational topics, e.g. organizing intakes in project teams, answering questions related to administrative systems etc.
- As part of the management team of the Hightech business unit, you also work on tactical and strategic plans/projects
- You are in contact with the customer regarding resource -or competence requests

Recognize yourself in this:
This is a position which comes with a lot of responsibility and requires very strong interpersonal skills. Therefore, our new colleague:
- Has a Bachelor or Master degree with several years of experience in managing&coaching highly skilled (tech/IT) professionals
- Has gained this experience in a cross-cultural setting, has cultural awareness and experience with intercultural communication
- Is emphatic and understanding, but also knows where to set his/her boundaries
- Has the capability to give effective feedback and does not shy away from ‘difficult’ conversations
- Loves to work in a team and has a natural interest in other people’s backgrounds, needs and ambitions
- Is down-to-earth and able to be self-propelling and self-organized
- Fluency in English is a must, Dutch is a nice to have
