As a Sales Director High Tech Division you are responsible for building and executing the Sales Strategy in line with the Division Strategy for our key markets – Semiconductor, Machine Builders, Energy and Healthcare. You will oversee the business relationship with the most important clients understanding the clients’ expectations, business needs and company strategy. By offering an integrated proposition with a small local team and delivery that is mainly done by our colleagues in Bulgaria and Portugal, you secure and increase ICT’s share of wallet from a revenue and value chain perspective and achieve long-term success. You will manage and coach a sales team on a daily basis and with your experience you support the sales team in achieving success. You will be part of the division management team.
This is what you like to do
- Further development of the division strategy in line with the ICT Group Strategy.
- Deliver an yearly growth and business development plan based on targets and actions agreed with the High Tech account team.
- Responsible for growing our portfolio in existing accounts as well as bringing new accounts in our Strategic Market.
- Keeping abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape. Identifying growth opportunities and areas for improvement in the market.
- Responsible for effective and efficient (internal) communication to deliver quality and client satisfaction.
- Have a full understanding of key clients’ needs and business objectives and long term goals. Prioritizing and managing clients’ expectations across all solutions and projects of the High Tech division.
- Driving and delivering flawless client service by maintaining exceptional business relationships with key decision makers.
- Research and pursue opportunities for client growth.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by the client and improve continuously to maintain trust.
- Being part of the ICT Group Sales Board you discuss opportunities cross units.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to inform the High Tech Division management.
- Being able to manage and coach a team with different expertise to service the client in the best way possible
- Develop and maintain a solid business relationship with ICT groups’ business- and technology partner community relevant for the assigned key client to identify sell with- or sell through opportunities.

You recognize yourself in this
- Demonstrate experience as a sales director within the High Tech domain
- Strong management and people skills, leading by example
- 10+ years’ experience and a proven track record of (target driven) account management experience.
- A solid understanding of the overall dynamics of the High Tech Industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Someone who can “connect-the-dots” across channels and touchpoints internally as externally.
- An exceptional work ethic and the willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done while maintaining a supportive, empowering and positive attitude.
- Master in problem-solving and negotiation without direct supervision and/or direction
- Embrace thought-leadership by staying up to date on industry news, technology trends and best practices.
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and comfortable presenting and speaking to clients’ C-Suite.
- Dutch is required
